2nd Annual Charity Classic

The 2nd year of our Charity Classic golf tournament is complete! Held on June 20 at The Ranch Golf & Country Club, we were able to raise a staggering $10,000.00 for Terra Centre!
As this tournament is held for our valued customers, they come from places around Alberta. Many of them have never physically been in our shop, so we organized shop tours (with a catered lunch from Drift) in the morning prior to golfing. This is a great way to show the scale and capability of our space, as well as provide a sense of the scope of our operations and the expertise of our team. With these tours, we are able to build confidence with our customers, and the number one comment we get is: "Wow!"
From there, we were able to pre-register and shuttle the guests directly to the course to begin the fun! This year we had a few activity holes, including wearing a welding helmet while teeing off, and putting with a custom, water-jet cut hockey stick putter. Having a best dressed team prize this year resulted in some pretty awesome outfits too!
Every year we choose a local charity to support and this year was Terra Centre. An organization for teen parents in Edmonton that allow them to not only attend school while their babies are looked after, but also equip them with knowledge of how to care for their new family, as well as provide meals! Terra is such a deserving and honourable space and we were delighted to present them with $10,000.00 from our mulligan and 50/50 sales.
Of course, we couldn't have done this without our generous prize sponsors. Each year our vendors provide the prizes for the winning teams, best dressed, longest drive, etc. (See list of sponsors at the end!)
Thank you to all who came and participated in the day! Whether playing, donating, or volunteering, everyone had a part in making this day a success.
